About Temperature Units
Celsius (°C) - The Celsius scale defines 0°C as the freezing point of water and 100°C as the boiling point at standard atmospheric pressure.
Fahrenheit (°F) - In the Fahrenheit scale, water freezes at 32°F and boils at 212°F at standard atmospheric pressure.
Kelvin (K) - The Kelvin is the base unit of temperature in the International System of Units (SI). 0K is absolute zero, the theoretical lowest possible temperature.
Rankine (°R) - The Rankine scale is an absolute temperature scale where 0°R is absolute zero, but with degree intervals matching the Fahrenheit scale.
Réaumur (°Ré) - The Réaumur scale defines 0°Ré as the freezing point of water and 80°Ré as the boiling point.
